How Did Naidu 'Buy' Her: Cash or card?

Firebrand actress-turned-YSR Congress party MLA R K Roja cannot keep her mouth shut even for a few days.

Known for his loud-mouth character, this Jabardast lady ripped apart her ex-boss and Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu for admitting one more MLA of her party into his party.

Reacting strongly to the defection of Pamarru MLA Uppuleti Kalpana into the TDP on Friday, Roja alleged that Naidu was shamelessly buying the Opposition party MLAs with ill-gotten money despite strong comments from the courts.

“How did you buy our party MLA? With cash or using swiping machine?” she asked.

She wondered how Naidu was shamelessly claiming that the TDP would get 175 seats in the next elections, while purchasing the other party MLAs.

“Has the TDP become Telugu Dongala Party?” she asked.

Roja also came down heavily on Naidu for lack of safety for women in his regime, which was evident from the way Guntur Zilla Parishad chairperson Sheikh Jaani Moon expressed threat to her life from minister Ravela Kishore Babu.

“When a woman leader from his own TDP does not have safety, how can the common women expect security in Naidu regime?” she wondered.

In the process, the firebrand MLA also pulled up women ministers in Naidu cabinet.

“They have not taken up a single programme for women. They are more interested in diamond necklaces and golden vaddanams than the safety of women,” she said.
